This is the question people ask us most, so here's a straight answer.
Nothing goes anywhere unless you send it
BizBrada is your book. What you record is visible to you and to whoever you give access to — nobody else.
We do not share your records with FIRS, the Nigeria Revenue Service, or any state revenue authority. Not automatically, not in the background, not ever without you deciding to file.
When you do choose to file a return, you see exactly what's being submitted, and you approve it first.
You see your position privately
You can use BizBrada to work out exactly where you stand — and then decide what to do about it, in your own time. Seeing your tax position doesn't commit you to anything.
If it's more than you expected, that's a conversation to have, not a trap you've walked into. Message us and we'll talk through the options.
Starting from where you are
Plenty of businesses come to us with a few years of history they'd rather not open up all at once. That's normal.
You choose the date your records start from. You're not forced to reconstruct everything before you can begin. Just be aware that starting fresh here doesn't settle anything from before — if you want help with older periods, our team can advise.
Who can see what
- You see everything.
- Your staff see only what you allow. They can record sales; they can't see your margins or remove records.
- Your accountant, if you invite one, gets access you can withdraw.
- Our support team can only look at your records if you specifically allow it, for the specific issue — and every time they do, it's logged and you can see it.
How we protect it
- Your records are encrypted, both when stored and when moving
- Every business's records are completely separated from every other's
- Every change is logged — who, what, when
- We handle your information under the Nigeria Data Protection Act and are registered with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission
