What filing means, and what happens after you certify
You confirm the figures. A licensed professional checks them — AMEC in Lagos, verified partner accountants elsewhere. Then it goes in. Here's each step.
Step one: you certify
When a return is ready, BizBrada freezes a copy of the figures and everything behind them. You read it and confirm it reflects your business.
Certifying isn't filing. Nothing has gone anywhere yet. It's you saying: these are my records, I stand behind them.
Step two: someone qualified reads it
A licensed professional reviews the frozen copy — AMEC directly in Lagos, or a verified partner accountant in your state. If something looks off — a month with no purchases, a figure that jumped — they come back to you inside BizBrada before anything is submitted.
Nobody outside that review sees your records. We don't report you to anyone. We work for you.
Step three: it's filed
Once it's clean, the return goes in and you get the acknowledgement in your filings list.
The frozen copy stays. Two years from now you can open that return and see exactly which records produced every figure in it.
If you're behind
Plenty of people arrive with months unfiled. Say so — that's a normal starting point, not a confession. We work out what's outstanding and take it in order.
